ELECTRICAL POWER AND ENERGY RECORDING

The ELITEpro energy data logger is a complete, portable solution for pinpointing electric usage and recording building performance metrics. It is capable of measuring, storing, and analyzing electrical consumption data which is derived from the voltage and current inputs. The ELITEpro portable power data logger uses direct connections to each phase of the voltage and various interchangeable current sensor options such as split-core , clamp-on (shown above), or flexible Rogowski RoCoil current transformers (designed for large loads or large cables and bussbars) to monitor current on each phase.

The ideal tool for energy audits, the ELITEpro power meter can capture kWh/kW energy and demand data as well as virtually all relevant energy parameters for diagnostics and monitoring on three-phase or single-phase circuit installations. Electrical load diagnostic parameters, such as power factor (both Apparent and Displacement), are captured in addition to energy and demand values.

NEED ANALOG INPUT CHANNELS, TOO?

In addition to recording kWh/kW data, the ELITEpro Model XC electric data logger also features four analog input channels which can be configured for voltage or current input used in any combination among channels. Analog inputs are especially helpful when used in conjunction with power measure-ments to correlate the consumption of electricity with environmental, HVAC plant performance, or other process conditions. Typical uses might include logging ambient temperature, building temperatures, solar insolation, tank pressures, duct flows, etc. Obtain all of this valuable normalized data using just one meter: The ELITEpro XC Power Logger.

1)  System voltage and configuration, ie 480V, 3 Ph 4 Wire Wye, etc.

2)  If cable conductors, cable or cable bundle size, per phase, or at least the applicable system ampacity.  If bus, approximate bus cross section. if known.  Else, the bus ampacity or best guess.

3)  Goal of the logging project, ie before/after, revenue audit, max load amps, voltage dips, power factor study, load profile, etc.

WHEN ELECTRICAL POWER QUALITY MATTERS

We Rent AEMC PowerPad Instruments that when suitably equipped are rated for TRMS, up to 1000Vrms AC/DC, up to 10kArms/5000A_DC, and can measure, record and analyze frequency, transients, harmonics, energy and individual parameters.  All rentals include AEMC's DataView^® software

The basic PowerPad^® is a three-phase power quality analyzer that is easy-to-use, compact and shock resistant. It enables technicians and engineers to measure and carry out diagnostics and power quality work on one-, two- or three- phase networks. Depending on the model chosen, up to five voltage and four current inputs are provided.
